Flagstaff Brewing Company was opened in July, 1994 with the mission to not only provide craft-brewed beer to a thirsty mountain town, but also to break the mold that has typified the atmosphere, structure, and goal of brewpubs for all too long. The Made In The Shade Beer Tasting Festival, in Flagstaff, is a wonderfully cool retreat in the middle of a hot Arizona summer. The 2010 event is June 26 at the Fort Tuthill County Park, a picturesque location surrounded by cool pine trees and the beautiful mountains. The beer festival features over 50 breweries from around the Southwest and West Coast that bring many varieties of beer to sample.

The Great Arizona Beer Festival

With your paid general admission ticket you can taste up to 24 three ounce samples of micro-brewed and specialty craft beers and receive a souvenir sampling mug. There will be live music, plenty of food (on sale), games, contests, and give-aways! The festival gates run from 2 - 6 pm each day, with VIP entrance at 1pm. The Left Hand tent will be pouring Milk Stout Nitro and Sawtooth ESB, new to AZ on draft. Also, look for the recently released 400 Pound Monkey English IPA, being poured at the World Class Beverages tent.

10th Annual Arizona Strong Beer Festival

The event is a beer tasting featuring strong beers, but offering a wide variety of beer types and styles. Guests will receive a commemorative 4 ounce tasting glass and tickets for 15 samples. The event will also feature the 2 Tone Lizard Kings live. A good selection of food will be available for purchase. Left Hand will be featuring our new 400 Pound Monkey English IPA and Widdershins Oak-Aged Barley Wine.
