Praha Restaurant & Left Hand Beer Dinner

Praha Restaurant & Left Hand Beer Dinner
Thursday, June 10th, 2010
6:30 p.m.
7521 Hwy. 66
Longmont, CO, 80503
303.702.1180

Here is the story of an exquisite beer dinner that you can be a part of. It begins with a man from Left Hand by the name of Mark Sample. He wears many hats at the brewery and in general is a fine fellow who enjoys beer and food and goes out of his way to pursue these interests. Mark attended a wine dinner at Praha in Longmont and afterwards in relaying his praises of the event to the owners came upon the notion that perhaps Praha could host a Left Hand beer dinner. The owners Chef Monica and her sister Judy then came to the brewery and with Mark and a few others tasted all the options beer wise that might comprise the dinner. All the while Monica studiously took notes as ideas were evoked. Then we were invited to come to Praha for a trial run of the dinner to ensure the pairings were true. Were they ever! I will not go into great detail (Check out the entire menu on the Praha website) but the courses included lamb chops, shrimp, and duck breast. Collectively it was agreed that this was one of the finest dinners that we have attended. Do not miss this event! Call Praha for reservations. Seating is limited. Seats are $65 per person. 10% of the proceeds will benefit the Colorado Horse Rescue. Please come and join Mark and the rest of us at Praha.
