With production due to start in a month, the cast for The Expendables sequel is falling into shape. And now, Lionsgate has confirmed what we were expecting: both Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger will be returning for the new film.
What’s more, it looks like neither of them will have small cameo roles this time around. According to a report over at Deadline, both of their roles this time around are “substantial”. Given that we saw the pair for just a couple of minutes in the first movie, the beefing up of their roles is most welcome.
Deadline also reports that, once he’s done with The Expendables 2, Bruce Willis will be straight off to make Die Hard 5, and after that, he’ll commence work on Red 2.
The Expendables 2 arrives next August.
