Supernatural superhero "The Spectre" is about to haunt your television set courtesy of Fox Television. According to Deadline.com, the network has ordered a pilot script for the show, which will be based on the DC Comics character, whose first appearance came in 1940. (He was created by Jerry Siegel, the dude who created Superman.)
"The Spectre" centers on a former cop serving time in afterlife limbo who hunts down earthly criminals on behalf of the dead — and mortals soon to be dead if ultimate justice is not served.
Brandon Camp (who wrote the horror flick CHOOSE) will write the adaptation and executive produce, with Warner Bros TV producing the series. No casting has gone down as of yet.
