With shooting almost done, why not take a look at the production of Joss Whedon's The Avengers as it goes before the cameras in New York City?



The shoot for Marvel’s The Avengers is rolling to a close in the next day or so, we understand, and it seems that all concerned found a good way to sign off. For, over the past weekend, the assorted cast were shooting in Central Park in New York City. As you might expect, camera lenses were not far away. And not just those of the cameras shooting the film, either.







Here, then, as the likes of Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr, Mark Ruffalo and Tom Hiddleston on set for possibly the final time (unless there are reshoots, of course). As always, click on any of the pictures to make them bigger.



The Avengers arrives in cinemas next May.
