John Cusack is Edgar Allen Poe in the upcoming movie, The Raven. And here’s the very first poster for it.



The new film from the director of Ninja Assassin and V For Vendetta, James McTeigue, isn’t with us until next March. But heck, we’ve got the first poster for it, anyway



The movie in question is The Raven, which stars John Cusack as Edgar Allen Poe. In the film, Poe’s stories appear to be inspiring the work of a serial killer, a point not lost on Detective Emmett Fields, played by Luke Evans.



We suspect, if there’s a poster about, that a maiden trailer might not be far away, too. But you’ll have to make do with this for the time being.



Given the quality of the poster, though, that should be little hardship.
