I Hate You, Dad is an upcoming comedy film starring Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg. David Caspe wrote the original draft. David Wain and Ken Marino did a rewrite of the script. Sean Anders and John Morris will serve as directors. The film will be produced under Sandler's production company Happy Madison, and is being shot in Massachusetts, around Boston and Cape Cod. The release date has been set at June 15, 2012. It will be distributed by Columbia Pictures.
Plot
The film follows a man (Adam Sandler) who, as a teenager, fathered a son (Andy Samberg) back in high school with his teacher. Years later, the man visits his son on the eve of his son's wedding and begins feuding with his son's bride (Leighton Meester).
