Is the upcoming American Pie sequel set to be the last one? The new poster seems to suggest so.



Arriving next April is the latest in Hollywood’s line of belated sequels. American Reunion is the fourth cinematic American Pie movie, which if it has any sense will ignore the four straight-to-DVD efforts that were spawned out over the last decade.



The new film has brought the original cast back, pretty much in its entirety. We just needed Eugene Levy, to be fair. We even sat through those DVD movies for him. Hope he appreciates it.



Anyway, the first poster for American Reunion has now popped up, and it seems to indicate that this might just be the last film in the franchise.



Now granted, if it makes Hangover-style levels of cash, that could change overnight, but it does say “save the best piece for last”. Thus, either this is going to be the last American Pie movie, or it isn’t going to be the best one. We’ll find out next year.
