Hughes, Evans Drive Into "Motor City"
Albert Hughes ("The Book of Eli") has reportedly signed on to direct the revenge thriller "Motor City" for Warner Bros. and Silver Pictures says Twitchfilm.
The story follows a small time crook who is framed and sent to jail, only to go after those who put him there after he is released. What's different about this 2009 Black List making script is that there is apparently only a single line of dialogue.
Chris Evans is reportedly the top choice of producer Joel Silver and has been offered the lead. Joel Edgerton and Jeremy Renner are also tipped to be in consideration.
The project is not to be confused with "Broken City", the Black List script which Albert's brother Allen Hughes is directing with Mark Wahlberg.
