Frank Grillo Joins "Squad," "Watch"
After a bunch of TV work in the likes of "The Shield," "Prison Break," "The Gates," "The Kill Point," "Blind Justice" and soapy "Guiding Light", New York-born actor Frank Grillo looks to have scored a rising feature career.
The actor has signed on for two roles recently, the first is to play a Chicago gangster who operates the Continental Wire Service in WB's ensemble crime epic "The Gangster Squad" says Variety.
He's also scored a key supporting role as the tough commanding officer of Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena's leading characters in the indie cop drama "End of Watch".
Grillo will next be seen starring as Joel Edgerton's boxing trainer in "Warrior" and has roles in both "The Grey" and "Lay the Favorite" which are currently in post production.
